About Me

FIONA GRIEVESON

Psychotherapist & Counsellor (MBACP)

MA Psychodynamic Counselling & Psychotherapy (Distinction). Goldsmiths, University of London

Qualifications:

Over the past six years I have worked with many issues, including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, relationship problems, bereavement, divorce, low confidence, eating problems, obsessive thinking, addiction and sexuality. I have also worked with individuals on the autism spectrum, including those who have recently received a diagnosis and are processing what this means for them. I have helped many people process emotional, sexual, and physical trauma and reach a place where these experiences no longer feel so heavy or hold them back.

From 2020-2023, I undertook community interest work at Horsham & Crawley Counselling Group, where I also trained as an assessor.

From 2023-2025, I worked at Surrey Injury Clinic, Horley, as a private practitioner.

Today, I practice from private premises on Station Approach, Horley. A registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I practice according to the Ethical Framework and receive regular supervision. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured.

-Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (Arizona Trauma Institute)

-Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism (NWSLC)

-Psychedelic Practitioner Foundations Programme (Clerkenwell Health)

Experience & Further Training:

As part of my commitment to professional development, I engage in regular ongoing study. Recent training includes:

Originally from Devon, now West Sussex, I have lived many years abroad, including a year in Venezuela and a decade in Singapore. This has afforded me the opportunity to meet and connect with people from all over the world and from many different walks of life. In addition to my psychotherapy career, I have previously taught English as a foreign language, worked for a London-based architecture firm, and volunteered for a charity assisting refugee women. When not at my practice, I enjoy walking in nature - occasionally with my two sausage dogs, although they generally prefer a snooze.

Life:

Be yourself.

No-one can say you're doing it wrong.
